First month of the eighth year, since there was a collection of left and right haori jackets, he was granted one. Fifth month of the same year, he was appointed to additional sword keeper duties. Seventh month of the same year, wardrobe disposal was discontinued, and thereafter due to economizing measures, although there were no items bestowed from the lord's wardrobe, there was a collection available, so by special consideration he was privately granted one haori jacket, one noshi-me formal wear, and one aya silk shoulder garment. Tenth month of the same year, he took the lead in serving various matters including construction work at the lord's residences under his personal management, as well as kitchen affairs, tea ceremony matters, bird-keeping duties, gardens, and economizing measures for various quarters and expenditures. For matters requiring consideration, he consulted with the appropriate departments and also reported to the chief retainers...
