現代語訳
享和元酉年十月、息子の進が病死したにつき、簗瀬源次郎の弟英次郎を婿養子にしたい旨を願い出て許可された。
同年十二月、来春御年男を仰せ付けられる旨を仰せ出され、御紋の御熨斗目を下賜された。
同月、学校御普請懸り合いにて臨時の勤労をしたにつき、御褒美として銀子二枚を下賜された。
同二戌年三月、年来奥番定仮役を精励して相勤めたにつき、御褒美として銀子三枚を下賜された。
同三亥年四月、貞昭様御下向の節、御道中御使番仮役を仰せ付けられて罷り下った。
ただし御道中滞りなく相勤めた段を仰せ出された。
同年六月、養子英次郎との不縁につき、本姓簗瀬源次郎方へ相返したい旨を願い出て許可され、実家へ復帰させた。
同年九月、両角丈治の二男弁次郎を婿養子にしたい旨を願い出て許可された。

First year of Kyōwa, year of the Rooster, tenth month: Since his son Susumu died of illness, he petitioned to adopt Eijirō, the younger brother of Yanase Genjirō, as a son-in-law and adopted son, and this was granted.
Twelfth month of the same year: It was announced that he would be appointed as御年男 (ceremonial New Year attendant) the following spring, and he was granted a formal robe (noshime) bearing the lord's crest.
Same month: Since he performed extraordinary labor duties in connection with school construction work, he was granted two pieces of silver as a reward.
Second year, year of the Dog, third month: Since he had diligently served for years in the temporary position of inner guard (okuban), he was granted three pieces of silver as a reward.
Third year, year of the Boar, fourth month: When Lord Sadaaki traveled down from Edo, he was appointed to the temporary position of travel escort guard and accompanied him down.
Note: It was announced that he served without incident during the journey.
Sixth month of the same year: Due to the dissolution of relations with his adopted son Eijirō, he petitioned to return him to his original family, the Yanase Genjirō household, and this was granted, allowing him to return to his birth family.
Ninth month of the same year: He petitioned to adopt Benjirō, the second son of Morokado Jōji, as a son-in-law and adopted son, and this was granted.
