一、同五年(1664年)月日不詳、山田宗悦の眼病治療が
命じられたため手伝いをするよう命じられ、同年十二月
金二両加増、御切符十六両に成し下された
一、同九年(1668年)三月、元服を命じられ、奉公については
御次に交代で詰めるよう命じられ、知行百五
十石を下賜され、小姓組に任命され、薬煎の
役を勤めた
ただし縫殿之丞と改名したが、
上からの御改名であったかどうかは不詳である

1. Second month of the same 4th year (1663), he received an additional stipend of two ryō in gold.
1. The same 5th year (1664), month unknown, when Yamada Sōetsu's eye disease treatment was ordered, he was commanded to assist. In the twelfth month of the same year, he received an additional two ryō in gold, with his stipend certificate increased to sixteen ryō.
1. Third month of the same 9th year (1668), he was ordered to perform his coming-of-age ceremony (genpuku). Regarding his service, he was ordered to serve in rotation at the御次 (go-tsugi). He was granted a fief of 150 koku, appointed to the page group (koshō-gumi), and served in the role of medicine preparation.
However, he changed his name to Nuinodono-no-jō, though it is unclear whether this was a name change ordered from above.
1. Fourth month of the same 10th year (1669), he accompanied his lord on the journey down to the domain, and in the tenth month of the same year, he accompanied him back up to Edo.

He accompanied Lord Dotsū's remains down to the domain. In the third month of the following Ushi year (1672), when the coffin was moved to Inawashiro, he served as an escort and continued his duties until the funeral ceremony. In the fourth month, he was given leave and returned to Edo.
