現代語訳

等を召し連れて会津に下った 一、同三年(1675年)五月、神保茂左衛門組に入り  城の番を勤めた 一、同五年(1677年)四月、江戸留守番のため登り、  同年十月に下った 一、貞享三年(1686年)閏三月、江戸常詰大納戸役を  命じられ、同年五月に郎等を引き連れて登った 一、同五年(1688年)三月、仮目付を命じられ、芝屋敷で  勤めた 一、元禄四年(1691年)閏八月、聞番役を命じられ、  役料五十石を下賜された 一、同七年(1694年)七月、聞番役の免職を願い出たところ、  免職は認められない旨を仰せ出された 一、同八年(1695年)十一月、息子国之丞を供番に  召し出していただきたい旨を願い出たところ、並の小姓として  下賜され召し出された 一、同十二年(1699年)四月、年を取ったため願いの通り  役を免じられ、会津へ引っ越して下った 一、同年七月、無役組を命じられた 一、同十五年(1702年)二月、願いの通り息子国之丞を[続く]

[He] took his retainers and others with him down to Aizu. 1. Fifth month of the same 3rd year (1675), he joined Jinbo Mozaemon's group and served guard duty at the castle. 1. Fourth month of the same 5th year (1677), he went up to Edo to serve as caretaker guard, and came back down in the tenth month of the same year. 1. Intercalary third month of Jōkyō 3 (1686), he was appointed to the position of ōnando-yaku (head of wardrobe) with permanent residence in Edo. In the fifth month of the same year, he went up to Edo with his retainers. 1. Third month of the same 5th year (1688), he was appointed as provisional inspector (kari-metsuke) and served at the Shiba residence. 1. Intercalary eighth month of Genroku 4 (1691), he was appointed to the position of intelligence officer (kikiban-yaku) and was granted a role stipend of fifty koku. 1. Seventh month of the same 7th year (1694), when he petitioned to be relieved of his intelligence officer duties, he was told that his dismissal would not be granted. 1. Eleventh month of the same 8th year (1695), when he petitioned for his son Kuninosuke to be appointed as an attendant (tomban), [the son] was granted the position of regular page (nami no koshō) and summoned. 1. Fourth month of the same 12th year (1699), due to his advanced age, his petition was granted and he was relieved of his duties, moving back down to Aizu. 1.
