現代語訳

一安永元辰年二月、目黒行人坂からの出火により上御屋敷が類焼した際、芝御屋敷へ先詰めとして赴いていたが、衣類諸道具が残らず焼失したため勤務に支障をきたし、支度が整うまでの暇を下し置かれて会津へ帰国し、同八月に支度が整ったので江戸へ戻った。 一同六酉年五月、御膳番定仮役を仰せ付けられた。 一同年十二月、水主町桃沢弾右衛門跡屋敷を下し置かれた。 一同九子年十二月、米代二ノ丁横山数馬跡屋敷を下し置かれた。 一天明四辰年十二月、寒鴨御献上につき御国使者を仰せ付けられ、両御丸をはじめ御老中様、若御年寄中様方、御同席様その他諸家への御使いを勤めた。 一同五巳年十月、保科越前守様御用掛りを仰せ付けられ、その他秋田信濃守様、溝口出雲守様、加藤遠江守様、九鬼式部少輔様、大関伊織様御用掛りを追々仰せ付けられた。

In the 2nd month of Anei 1 (1772): Due to a fire that started from Meguro Gyōninzaka, when the upper residence was damaged by the spreading fire, he had been stationed in advance at the Shiba residence, but since all his clothing and household goods were completely burned, making it difficult to continue his duties, he was granted leave until he could prepare new belongings and returned to Aizu. In the 8th month of the same year, having completed his preparations, he returned to Edo. In the 5th month of Anei 6 (1777): He was appointed as a regular provisional dining attendant (gozenban teikeyaku). In the 12th month of the same year: He was granted the former residence site of Momozawa Dan'emon in Suishu-machi. In the 12th month of Anei 9 (1780): He was granted the former residence site of Yokoyama Kazuma in Yoneyo 2-chōme. In the 12th month of Tenmei 4 (1784): In connection with the presentation of winter ducks to the shogun, he was appointed as a domain messenger and served as an envoy to both castle compounds (Honmaru and Nishinomaru), beginning with the senior councilors, young elders, colleagues of equal rank, and various other houses. In the 10th month of Tenmei 5 (1785): He was appointed to serve Lord Hoshina Echizen-no-kami, and was subsequently appointed to serve Lord Akita Shinano-no-kami, Lord Mizoguchi Izumo-no-kami, Lord Katō Tōtōmi-no-kami, Lord Kuki Shikibushōyū, and Lord Ōzeki Iori.
