已上に掾り吉田藩七万国の装備幾許と云ふに本帳末尾に左の如く記し
あり此数ハ寛永十四年二月十七日同十九年七月十四日幕府制定の「御軍役
御扶持方附」と云書と同数の書物也而して此「御軍役御扶持方附」の未に天
保十一年十月廿二日善伸為収次写と記しあり当時善伸ノ子収次ハ荐り
二軍学を考究しありし也掾是観是此「御軍役御扶持方附」ハ天保の時代迄
も効力ありしかとも思ハる何ハともあれ左記数字は規定にして実際ハ

この御帳は享保十二年丁未十二月朔日、西村次右衛門を御居間へお召しになり、御直々にお渡しになった。仰せの趣旨は以下の通りである。
知光院様の御代にその方の父孫次右衛門も御手伝いを仕ったことがある。当時は訳も違いがあるが、その格をもってお仕立てになったので、連列並びに中老どもまで折々見置くようにと仰せになった。
この御書付は別にこのように認めた帳の上には割けがある。

以上により吉田藩七万石の装備がいくばくかということについて、本帳末尾に左のように記してある。この数は寛永十四年二月十七日、同十九年七月十四日幕府制定の「御軍役御扶持方附」という書と同数の書物である。そしてこの「御軍役御扶持方附」の末に天保十一年十月二十二日善伸が収次のために写すと記してある。当時善伸の子収次は頻りに軍学を考究していた。これを観ると、この「御軍役御扶持方附」は天保の時代まで効力があったかとも思われる。何はともあれ、左記数字は規定であって実際は

This register was given directly by His Lordship when Nishimura Jiemon was summoned to the lord's quarters on the 1st day of the 12th month of Kyōhō 12th year, year of the Sheep. The purport of his words was as follows:
During the reign of Lord Chikōin, your father Magojirōemon also served as an assistant. Although circumstances are different now, you have been appointed in that same capacity, so the retainers and middle-ranking elders should occasionally review this.

Based on the above, regarding how much equipment the Yoshida Domain of 70,000 koku possessed, it is recorded at the end of this register as follows. These numbers are from a document identical to "Military Service Stipend Allocations" established by the shogunate on the 17th day of the 2nd month of Kanei 14th year and the 14th day of the 7th month of the same 19th year. At the end of this "Military Service Stipend Allocations," it is recorded that Zenshin copied it for Shūji on the 22nd day of the 10th month of Tenpō 11th year. At that time, Zenshin's son Shūji was diligently studying military science. From this observation, it appears that this "Military Service Stipend Allocations" may have remained effective until the Tenpō era. In any case, the following numbers are regulations, while the reality was
