合歡人家植れは於庭除の間に使め人不 忿（いか）ら

耒槿花（ふそうくわ）
『本草綱目』
合歓は人家で庭除の間に植えて、人を怒らせないようにする。
蓋し合歓は忿（いかり）を除き、萱草は憂いを忘れさせると言う。
『和名類聚抄』
合歓木（ねむりのき）
『唐韻』に曰く、棔は音昏、和名は祢布利乃木
『弁色立成』に睦の樹と言う
合歓木はその葉が朝に開き暮れに閉じるものである

The silk tree is planted in household courtyards to prevent people from becoming angry.
It is said that the silk tree removes anger, while day lily makes one forget worries.

In the 'Tang Yun' it says: 棔 is pronounced "kon," Japanese name is nehuri-no-ki
