一 同月廿五日御拝領之御馬御老中松平伊豆守《割書:信|綱》殿ゟ使者ニ而
為率来其節御玄関前江 御出手綱御直ニ御請取御頂戴
永見帯刀江 御渡夫ゟ御書院江被為 入使者江御返答有之

御勤めし、残りの御老中へは御使者永見帯刀を指し出した

一 同月二十五日 御拝領の御馬を御老中松平伊豆守《割書:信綱》殿より使者にて
率い来らしめ、その節御玄関前へ御出でになり手綱を御直に御受け取り御頂戴し、
永見帯刀へ御渡しになり、それより御書院へ入られ使者へ御返答があり、
御長熨斗を下された
一 同月二十九日 御使者を以て御国産の初鯖を献上した

To the Imperial Consort: 50 books of hair-styling paper were offered
1. 22nd day of the 4th month: Through Senior Councilor Matsudaira Izu-no-kami (marginal note: Nobutsuna) as official messenger,
permission to return to the domain was granted. As customary, received silver and lined summer garments as gifts. As thanks for this,
paid respects to Izu-no-kami, and sent messenger Nagami Tatewaki to the remaining Senior Councilors.

1. 23rd day of the same month: Went to the castle (marginal note: Yesterday the 22nd, official messenger Matsudaira Izu-no-kami conveyed the message)
to express gratitude for the leave permission. As customary, received a horse as a gift, and then as thanks for this,
paid respects to the Senior Councilors and Hoshina Higo-no-kami.
However, regarding this leave, the dates of departure from Edo and return to the castle are not clear in the records.
1. 25th day of the same month: The gifted horse was brought by a messenger from Senior Councilor Matsudaira Izu-no-kami (marginal note: Nobutsuna).
At that time, [the lord] came out to the front entrance, directly received and accepted the reins with his own hands,
handed them to Nagami Tatewaki, then entered the reception room where he gave a reply to the messenger
and bestowed dried abalone as a gift.
1. 29th day of the same month: Through a messenger, offered the first mackerel of the season from the domain's products.
