冠木門等破損ニ付御修復被成度旨御伺被成候処如元

一 五月三日、端午の祝儀として使者を通じて例の通り帷子・単衣・
袷を献上した。追って内書が城中で渡され、家来への
拝領物等は例の通りであった
一 同月四日、使者を通じて例の通り国産の初鯖を献上した
一 同月晦日、国許の地震（去る朔日の）により城の門・升形・石垣・勝見口・
冠木門等が破損したため修復したい旨を伺い出たところ、元の通り
普請を行うようにとの奉書が来た。右の御礼として老中へ使者として家老
酒井玄蕃元知を指し出した
一 七月五日 上使下曾根三十郎信貞殿を通じて鷹の雲雀を拝領した

三十郎殿がお越しの際、門際で雲雀を家老有賀小右衛門正成が受け取り、
玄関で奏者番飯沼十郎右衛門政刑が受け取り書院へ持参した。
三十郎殿が通られる際、渡之間の次の間まで出迎え、会釈があり、三十郎殿は
座敷へ通られ、上意の趣旨をお達しになり、雲雀を頂戴し御請けを申し上げた
後、長袴のまま直に居住まいを正し、直ちに拝領の雲雀を吸物にして盃事が
行われた。三十郎殿が退出の際は玄関まで送られた。右の御礼として
登城し、老中へ使者として留守居富岡又三郎を指し出した
一 九月三日、使者を通じて国産の初鱈を献上した。右の披露が済んだ
旨の捻り封奉書が老中阿部豊後守忠秋殿から来た

When Sanjuro came, the skylarks were received at the gate area by retainer Aruga Koemon Masanari,
then received at the entrance by master of ceremonies Iinuma Juroemon Masayoshi and brought to the reception room.
When Sanjuro passed through, there was a greeting and meeting up to the waiting room next to the watari-no-ma, and Sanjuro was
shown to the reception room where he conveyed the shogun's intentions, and [the lord] received the skylarks and expressed gratitude.
Afterward, [the lord] sat properly in his long hakama, and immediately held a sake ceremony with the gifted skylarks prepared as soup.
When Sanjuro departed, [the lord] saw him off to the entrance. As thanks for this,
[the lord] attended the castle and sent castle keeper Tomioka Matasaburo as messenger to the senior councilors
