国許之初鱈被献之候遂披露候之処
一段之御仕合候恐々謹言
九月三日 忠秋書判
但従是以前ニも初鱈御献上之事可有之候得共御記録類ニ不詳
一右初鱈被献候ニ付而之捻御奉書初而此所ニ記之以後は定例故不記之
一 九月七日為重陽御祝儀御使者を以例之通御小袖被献之
追而 御内書於 御城御渡有之御家来拝領物等如例

一 十月十日 上使並木十左衛門殿を以 御鷹之鶴御拝領十左衛門殿
御越之先鶴御玄関ニ而御奏者番飯沼十郎右衛門《割書：政｜刑》酒井十之丞《割書：充｜房》
請取御書院江持参十左衛門殿御越之節渡り之間迄御出迎御会釈
有之御案内ニ而御書院江御通 上意之趣御達有之鶴御頂戴被成
御請被 仰上畢而御長蚫 御直ニ御居被成御吸物出御盃事有之相済
十左衛門殿御退出之節御玄関迄御送被成右為御礼 御登 城御礼
被 仰上夫ゟ御老中江 御廻勤若年寄中江御使者被指出之
一 同日右同断ニ付御家老御城代江御書被成
但右御書被成候儀以後定例故不記之

ただし、これ以前にも初鱈の献上はあったと思われるが、記録類に詳細がない
一 右の初鱈献上についての捻り封奉書は初めてここに記録する。以後は定例となるため記録しない
一 九月七日、重陽の祝儀として使者を通じて例の通り小袖を献上した。
追って内書が城中で渡され、家来への拝領物等は例の通りであった

一 十月十日 上使並木十左衛門殿を通じて鷹の鶴を拝領した。十左衛門殿が
お越しになる前に、鶴を玄関で奏者番飯沼十郎右衛門政刑・酒井十之丞充房が
受け取り、書院へ持参した。十左衛門殿がお越しの際、渡之間まで出迎え、会釈が
あり、案内によって書院へお通しし、上意の趣旨をお達しになり、鶴を頂戴し
御請けを申し上げた。その後、長袴のままで直に居住まいを正し、吸物を出して盃事があり、済んだ後
十左衛門殿が退出の際は玄関まで送られた。右の御礼として登城し、御礼を
申し上げ、それから老中へ廻勤し、若年寄中へ使者を指し出した
一 同日、右と同様の件について家老・城代へ書状を出した
ただし右の書状を出すことは以後定例となるため記録しない

1. This twisted-seal official letter regarding the aforementioned first cod presentation is recorded here for the first time. Hereafter it will not be recorded as it becomes routine
1. September 7th: For the Chrysanthemum Festival celebration, through a messenger presented kosode as usual.
Subsequently, a private letter was delivered at the castle, and gifts for retainers etc. were as usual

1. October 10th: Through envoy Namiki Juzaemon, received cranes for falconry as a gift. Before Juzaemon
arrived, the cranes were received at the entrance by master of ceremonies Iinuma Juroemon Masayoshi and Sakai Junosuke Mitsufusa,
and brought to the reception room. When Juzaemon came, there was a greeting and meeting up to the watari-no-ma, and
by guidance he was shown to the reception room, where he conveyed the shogun's intentions, [the lord] received the cranes and
expressed gratitude. Afterward, [the lord] sat properly in his long hakama, soup was served and there was a sake ceremony, and after it was completed,
when Juzaemon departed, [the lord] saw him off to the entrance. As thanks for this, [the lord] attended the castle and expressed gratitude,
then made courtesy calls to the senior councilors and sent messengers to the junior councilors
