【右丁】
それから表御書院において諸士へ御餅を下され、二行に退出して自分で頂戴することが済んだ。
御前様御附の山田十郎右衛門、同じく半助、その他御附の面々が退出し、御餅を
下された。中御書院において御医師共へ御餅を下された。
ただし 御具足餅御祝いの件について
忠昌様の御代には 公辺をはじめ正月二十日に御祝いがあったが、
大猷院様の御忌日に当たるため、承応元年から 公辺の御祝いが十一日になった
ため、その節から御家でも御日取りを替えることになったと思われるが、当年までのところ詳細不明
一 正月十五日 御拝領の御鷹場で百姓共が生け捕りにした雁を捕らえて差し上げたため、その雁を
御献上したい旨を寒江甚右衛門を通じて御老中まで御伺いを立てられたところ、一段の儀であるので
早速明日御献上するよう、御用番阿部豊後守（忠秋）殿から御指図があった

Then at the outer study, rice cakes were given to the various samurai, who withdrew in two lines and received them individually.
The lord's heir's attendants Yamada Jūrōemon, Hansuke, and other attendants withdrew and were
given rice cakes. At the middle study, rice cakes were given to the physicians.
Note: Regarding the armored rice cake celebration
During Lord Tadamasa's reign, celebrations were held on January 20th, starting with the shogunate,
but because it coincided with Lord Taiyūin's death anniversary, from Jōō 1 (1652) the shogunate's celebration was moved to the 11th,
so from that time our domain also changed the date, though details up to the current year are unclear
1. January 15th: At the falconry grounds granted by the shogun, peasants captured live geese and presented them, so regarding献上ing those geese,
an inquiry was made through Samegae Jinemon to the senior councilors, and since it was an excellent matter,
instructions came from duty councilor Abe Bungo-no-kami (Tadaaki) to make the presentation tomorrow without delay
