一 同日、御用番本多伯耆守正珍殿から御呼び出しがあり、御留守居大谷一右衛門良次が
出向いたところ、左の通り御書付をもって申し聞かされた。
明日十五日、義丸が大奥へ登城
するように致すべきである。そなたも明日御礼を申し上げるべきである。
熨斗目袷長袴を着用すべきである。
四月十四日
一 四月十五日 御登城、例の通り竹の御廊下にて御控えなされたところ、御目付
神尾市左衛門殿の御案内にて御黒書院御縁通り御錠口近くに控える。
その節、若年寄水野壱岐守忠定殿の御案内があり、御座之間御廊下まで

御出でになられた節、御老中堀田相模守正亮殿が出席し、御礼席等の件について達し
があり、それから壱岐守殿の御案内にて御座之間へ御出座、御献上の
御太刀目録を若年寄板倉佐渡守勝清殿が披露し、御礼を仰せ上げ御退去。
その後、御献上の白銀二十枚、綿二十把が引かれ、重ねて御出座、御敷
居の外へ御控えの節、上意があり御敷居の内へ御着座。
義丸様が今日大奥へ御登城の御礼を仰せ上げ、御老中本多
伯耆守正珍殿のお取り合いがあり、御次へ御退座、御小刀をお取りになり御出での
節、御懇意の上意があり、御手ずから御長鮑を御頂戴にて御退
去、竹の御廊下へ御控えなされ、それから例の通り御黒書院にて御暇の

When he appeared, rōjū Hotta Sagami-no-kami Masasuke-dono was present and gave instructions regarding the ceremonial seating arrangements, etc.
Then, under Iki-no-kami-dono's guidance, he entered the audience chamber, and the catalog of the ceremonial sword offering
was presented by wakadoshiyori Itakura Sado-no-kami Katsukiyo-dono, respects were paid, and he withdrew.
Afterward, the offerings of twenty pieces of silver and twenty bundles of cotton were received, and he appeared again in audience.
When waiting outside the threshold, there was a shogunal command and he was seated inside the threshold.
Yoshimaru-sama offered his respects for today's visit to the inner palace quarters, and rōjū Honda
Hōki-no-kami Masayoshi-dono attended to the matter. He withdrew to the next room, took his short sword, and when departing,
there was a gracious shogunal word, and he received abalone directly from the shogun's hand before withdrawing
to wait at the bamboo corridor, and then as usual took his leave at the black study hall.
