現代語訳

の心得である。

御附札：「三使登城の節は御先手固めがある。追って上々官が通る節は、急に人留めに及ばず、往来の参掛かりを横小路へ相払いする。横小路には図の者を出すべきである。もっとも屋敷前の図締めは必要ない」

一　表門で上々官が相通る節は締め置いても差し支えないことでしょうか。先達て明け置くよう仰せ出された上で、上々官が相通る節も登城の節の通り明け置くべきことでしょうか。

御附札：「表門を明け置く儀は、上々官が通る場合も同様である」

一　東門前柵木の内に見物の者を差し置く儀は差し支えないでしょうか。
　　ただし試しに幕を張る予定である。

　　御附札：「見物の者を指し置く儀は差し支えない。もっとも門内が見透かされるようであれば、幕張りはお勝手次第である」

一　夜に入ることがあれば、西の方の長屋通へも台

Official note attached: "When the three envoys visit the castle, there will be advance guard security. Subsequently, when high-ranking officials pass through, there is no need for urgent crowd control, but those coming and going should be cleared to the side alleys. Personnel should be deployed to the side alleys according to the diagram. However, there is no need for diagrammed security in front of residences."

One: When high-ranking officials pass through the main gate, would it be acceptable to keep it closed? Previously, orders were given to keep it open, so should it be kept open when high-ranking officials pass through, just as when visiting the castle?

Official note attached: "Regarding keeping the main gate open, it should be the same when high-ranking officials pass through."

One: Would it be acceptable to place spectators within the fenced area in front of the east gate?
However, we plan to hang curtains as a trial.

Official note attached: "It is acceptable to place spectators there. However, if the inside of the gate becomes visible, hanging curtains is at your discretion."

One: If it extends into the night, platforms should also be placed along the western longhouse street...
