一　同日播州姫路ゟ御使者御家老好田主水幷副使
　　永田内蔵之丞着ニ付於御在所　御目見被仰付
一　十二月四日寒中ニ付御書を以儀之通御国産一番生鱈
　　被献之

一　同日寒中 御機嫌為御伺江戸表江御書十二【去】月二十七日附被指出之
　　　　但去月十八日御書持参之御使者出立之処大和守様
　　　　　御卒去ニ付御勤難被成旨重而申来右御書
　　　　　御忌明後之御日附ニ而今日被指出之

一　同日大和守明■【矩】様於御在所御病気之節御医師御願之
　　通被　仰出且又宿継を以御病気御尋有之候為御礼
　　江戸表江御書被指出之
一　同月六日寒中ニ付御書を以例之通御国産二番生鱈被献之
一　同月八日於運正寺　　六日晩ゟ今朝迄　照光院様七回
　　御忌御取越御法事御執行有之
　　　　　但　来巳年五月御相当ニ候得共御追善之
　　　　　　　思召ニ而御取越ニ相成

現代語訳

一　同日、播州姫路より御使者として御家老好田主水並びに副使
　　永田内蔵之丞が到着したので、御在所において御目見えを仰せ付けられた。

一　十二月四日、寒中につき御書を以て、例の通り御国産一番生鱈を
　　献上した。

一　同日、寒中の御機嫌伺いのため江戸表へ御書を十二月二十七日付で指し出した。
　　　　ただし去月十八日の御書を持参する御使者が出立したところ、大和守様の
　　　　　御卒去につき御勤めが難しくなった旨を重ねて申してきた。右の御書は
　　　　　御忌明け後の御日付にて今日指し出した。

一　同日、大和守明矩様が御在所で御病気の折、御医師を御願いの
　　通り仰せ出され、また宿継ぎを以て御病気御尋ねがあった御礼のため、
　　江戸表へ御書を指し出した。

一　同月六日、寒中につき御書を以て例の通り御国産二番生鱈を献上した。

一　同月八日、運正寺において六日晩より今朝まで、照光院様七回
　　御忌の御取越し御法事を御執行された。
　　　　ただし来る巳年五月が御相当でございますが、御追善の
　　　　　思召しにて御取越しとなった。

One: On the same day, messengers from Himeji in Harima Province - chief retainer Yoshida Mondo and deputy envoy Nagata Kuranonosuke - arrived, so an audience was granted at the residence.

One: On December 4th, for the cold season, a letter was sent offering first-grade fresh cod, a local product, as customary.

One: On the same day, for inquiring about well-being during the cold season, a letter dated December 27th was submitted to Edo.
　　　　However, when the messenger carrying the letter from last month on the 18th departed, word came again that duties had become difficult due to the death of Lord Yamato-no-kami. The aforementioned letter was submitted today with a date after the end of the mourning period.

One: On the same day, when Lord Yamato-no-kami Akinori was ill at his residence, a physician was appointed as requested, and also a letter was submitted to Edo as thanks for inquiries about his illness sent via post stations.

One: On the 6th of the same month, for the cold season, second-grade fresh cod, a local product, was offered as customary through a letter.

One: On the 8th of the same month, at Unsho-ji Temple, from the evening of the 6th until this morning, the seventh memorial service for Lord Shoko-in was conducted ahead of schedule.
