For ten thousand generations, with the turtle as friend, you shall prosper,
Your lifespan knows no bounds - Itchi (Jō)
As a friend, what remains unchanging through ten thousand generations
Is the treasured turtle's lifespan - Haruari
The turtle that dwells in the pond water for countless generations
I shall regard as the friend of your lifespan - Retsusai
