中興
慈眼大師（諱は天海）
慶長十四年十二月に権僧正に任じられ、同十六年に権を転じて正に任じられ、同十八年に
当山住職となり、元和二年七月に正を転じて大僧正に任じられ、寛永二十年十月二日に
東叡山において入寂し、慶安元年四月十一日に慈眼大師の諡を賜った。
御兼職
久遠寿院准三宮公海大僧正（前大僧正、毘沙門堂御門跡である）
花山院左大臣定熙公の嫡孫、左少将忠長朝臣の息男で、後に
台命により九条関白幸家公の猶子となり、寛永二十年に御受職、承応三
甲午年に御辞職、元禄八年乙亥十月十六日に示寂した。

Revival Period
Great Master Jigen (personal name: Tenkai)
In the 14th year of Keichō, 12th month, he was appointed to provisional high priest rank; in the 16th year of the same era, he was transferred from provisional to regular appointment; in the 18th year of the same era,
he became the head priest of this mountain temple; in the 2nd year of Gen'na, 7th month, he was transferred from regular rank to great high priest; in the 20th year of Kan'ei, on the 2nd day of the 10th month,
he passed away at Tōeizan, and on the 11th day of the 4th month of the 1st year of Keian, he was posthumously granted the title Great Master Jigen.

Great High Priest Kōkai of Kuon-jū-in, Quasi-Third Imperial Prince rank (former Great High Priest, head of Bishamon-dō temple)
The eldest grandson of Minister of the Left Sadahiro of the Hanayama-in house, son of Assistant Captain of the Left Tadanaga; later
by imperial command he became the adopted son of Regent Yukiie of the Kujō house; he received the position in the 20th year of Kan'ei, resigned in the 3rd year of Jōō,
year of Kinoe-Uma, and passed away on the 16th day of the 10th month of the 8th year of Genroku, year of Kinoto-I.
