現代語訳
一、同年九月、追鳥狩の節に出向いた
但し、この後合隊稽古共に三度出向いた
事
一、同年閏十一月、当追鳥狩の節、列
伍足並み等が格別によく揃い、隊々が連属を
成し、運用が滞りなく行われた段、兼ねてから合隊稽古も
特に出精していた義ともお思し召しの旨、仲
間一同御称美なされ下された
但し、この後合隊稽古共に毎度御称美
なされ下された事
一、同十二年亥年二月、足並みに出精した
につき、礼式方において御酒を下し置かれた事
一、同年十一月、銃術師範手伝勤めを兼
務につき、御番並びに御宮火の番を御免
なされ下されたところ、兼務も透き間ができたので、御番
方見習いを申し度く、御在国に限り来二月中
まで本務の御番を勤め度い旨を願い任せられた事
一、同十四年丑年十月、繰練に出精よく相励んだ
につき、御褒美として新身の槍一穂を下し置かれた事

1. In the 9th month of the same year, he participated in the bird hunting drive (tsuitori-gari).

In the intercalary 11th month of the same year, during the bird hunting drive, his formation and marching were exceptionally well-coordinated, the units maintained proper connection, and operations proceeded without hindrance. It was proclaimed that this was recognized by his lordship as evidence of his particular diligence in combined unit training from before, and all his comrades were commended together.
Note: After this, he was commended every time during combined unit training.
1. In the 2nd month of the same 12th year (1815), year of the boar, because of his diligence in marching formation, he was granted sake at the ceremony office.
1. In the 11th month of the same year, due to his concurrent duties as assistant rifle instructor, he was exempted from guard duty and shrine fire-watch duty. However, since his concurrent duties also had intervals, he requested to train as a guard and wished to serve regular guard duty until the end of the 2nd month next year, limited to when the lord was in the domain, and this request was granted.
1. In the 10th month of the same 14th year (1817), year of the ox, because he diligently encouraged good drill practice, he was granted one new spear as a reward.
