  母同上  重能義終身浪人に而医術相学候由家  元伝道之趣に候処宝永四亥年七月廿一日   鈴木弥三郎伯父最上船町に伊東現休と  申者親類共為対面参候暫差置度由官  記に相見候へは伊藤を名乗罷在候義と相見候  尤病死之年月も違候へ共墓名も無之由  過去帳之書損にも可有之哉  弥三郎重妻  慶安四卯年誕生      母新妻氏女    妻塩田助之丞重実女 寛文十一亥年誕生享保十九              寅年九月十四日六拾四歳に而              病死法名釈遊玉葬所同上 一寛文九酉年二月鼻紙代金弐両弐人  扶持被下置親肩代相勤候様被 仰付候事   但御当国に而御用之捕手縄之儀は岩田   無人斉伝受を以御用ひ来候処末々に至誤   戒出来候儀と相見難用立縄共多御座候

現代語訳

母は同上  重能は終身浪人として医術を学んだとの由緒が家元から伝わっているが、宝永四年亥年七月二十一日、鈴木弥三郎の伯父が最上船町にて伊東現休という者と親類一同で対面のため参ったところ、しばらく差し置きたい旨が記録に見えるので、伊藤を名乗っていたものと見える。もっとも病死の年月も違っており、墓名もないとのことなので、過去帳の書き損じであろうか。  弥三郎重妻  慶安四年卯年誕生      母は新妻氏の女    妻は塩田助之丞重実の女 寛文十一年亥年誕生、享保十九年寅年九月十四日、六十四歳にて病死。法名は釈遊玉、葬所は同上 一、寛文九年酉年二月、鼻紙代として金二両二人扶持を下し置かれ、親の肩代わりとして相勤めるよう仰せ付けられたこと   但し、御当国にて御用の捕手縄の件は、岩田無人斉の伝授を以て御用いになってきたが、末々に至り誤った戒めが出来た件と見え、難しく用立たない縄が多くある

Yasaburō Shigetsuma  Born in Keian 4 (1651), year of the rabbit      Mother: daughter of the Niitsuma clan    Wife: daughter of Shioda Sukenosuke Shigezane, born in Kanbun 11 (1671), year of the boar, died of illness on the 14th day of the 9th month of Kyōhō 19 (1734), year of the tiger, at age 64. Posthumous Buddhist name: Shaku Yūgyoku, burial place: same as above 1. Kanbun 9 (1669), year of the rooster, 2nd month: was granted 2 ryō in gold for paper handkerchiefs and support for 2 retainers, and ordered to serve in place of his father   However, regarding the binding ropes used for official arrests in this domain, they have been used based on the transmission from Iwata Mujinsai, but it appears that in later generations errors in discipline arose, and there are many ropes that are difficult to use effectively
