万葉集 勝鹿真間娘子の墓を過ぎる時に作った歌 山部宿禰赤人
「昔にありけむ人の倭文機の帯解き替へて廬屋立て妻問ひしけむ勝鹿の真間の手児奈の奥津城をここと聞けども真木の葉や茂くあるらむ松が根や遠久しき言のみも名のみも我は忘らえなくに」
返歌
「我も見つ人にも告げむ勝鹿の真間の手児奈が奥津城処」

「鶏鳴く東の国に昔にありける事と今に至るまで絶えず言ひ来る勝鹿の真間の手児奈が麻衣に青襖着て直垂を裳には織り着て髪谷も掻きは梳らず履をだに履かで行けども錦綾の中に包める斎児も妹に及かめや」

Man'yōshū - Poem composed when passing the grave of the maiden of Mama in Katsushika - Yamabe no Sukune Akahito
"Though I hear that here lies the tomb of Tekona of Mama in Katsushika, where people of old would have untied their woven sashes and built huts to court wives - do the leaves of sacred trees grow thick? Do the pine roots endure long? I cannot forget even her name alone, her memory alone."
