とかや。この外、太刀の名所は天常を遠心に込め、陰陽合体の形を表す。また柄軽太刀と言う。柄の頭を鳥にして穿の鍔を掛けたるを言う。鳥は鳳凰なり。鳳の柄より出たる体なり。行幸杯の供奉に古来用いて、天子の御徳を鳳にたとえたり。

There is also what is called the "light-handled sword." This refers to a sword with a bird-shaped pommel and a pierced tsuba guard attached. The bird is a phoenix. It has the form of emerging from a phoenix handle. It has been used since ancient times in the retinue for imperial processions and cups, comparing the emperor's virtue to the phoenix.

One, regarding caps. In ancient times there were thick-fronted, thin-fronted, half-fronted, and transparent-fronted types. In general, caps have varieties with and without patterns, and in the past, fifth rank and above had patterns, while sixth rank and below were without patterns.
One, regarding the hanging cords - twisted paper is the original form, used by all except court nobles and palace attendants. Also, the use of purple braided hanging cords is for times below court dress rank. However, braided hanging cords were first established in the fourth month of Jōgen 2 (1208) during Emperor Go-Toba's kemari (court football) session.
