一、同二十五日、天晴れ。今日、神宝の書き立て（目録・仕様書）を持参し、五味殿へ見せるべく、神主・正祢宜・豊後守・大炊頭・図書頭・長門守・主馬助・美作守・両雑掌が（連れ立って）出向かれた。一々申し述べたが、「明日また御出でくださいませ」と（五味殿の取次である）周防殿と面会ができたとのことで、「幸いに（先方へ）申し入れましょう」とのことであった。
一、同日、社頭において総普請（全体的な工事）があった。明日、権社を曳き除く（曳き移す）ところ、またその他諸々の普請があった。
一、同日、古い権社の神宝類を納めるための仮屋を仕立て、半分ほど出来上がった。
仮殿の場所は、権社の前、杉尾社の後ろに、二間四方の広さで、杉の柱を粗削りにして、いかにも仮設の作法にて建て立てた。（割書：神宝屋の北の端と、杉尾（社）の北の端は同じ位置である。）（割書：仮設ゆえ、出入口は東に開け、残る三方は板で囲った。）
一、同日、権社を曳き移すために、轆轤（ろくろ・滑車）を二つ、社の後方、およそ十八間ほど北に設置した。
一、二十六日、天晴れ。今日もまた、昨日の約束のとおり、神主・正祢宜・前正祝入道化安・主馬助・両雑掌が、周防殿（の元）へ五味殿とともに同道して参られた。すると周防殿と五味殿が同席しておられ、五味殿の取り次ぎにより（神宝の書き立てを）一々御覧になった。周防守が申されるには、一々諸……（次頁へ続く）

Item: The twenty-fifth day, fine weather. Today, the written document (kakitate—inventory/specifications) of the sacred treasures (shinpō) was brought to be shown to Lord Gomi. For this purpose, the following individuals proceeded together: the Head Priest (kannushi), the Chief Ritualist (shō-negi), Bungo-no-kami, Ōi-no-kami, Zusho-no-kami, Nagato-no-kami, Shume-no-suke, Mimasaka-no-kami, and the two shrine administrators (zasshō). Each matter was duly presented, but [the intermediary] Lord Suō was met, who said, "Please come again tomorrow," indicating that [he] would fortunately convey the matter to the appropriate party.
Item: On the same day, a general construction project (sō-fushin) took place at the shrine precinct. Since the Junior Shrine (gon-sha) was to be relocated the following day, various construction works were also carried out in connection with this.
Item: On the same day, a temporary shelter (kariya) to house the sacred treasures of the old Junior Shrine was constructed and was about half completed.
The location of the temporary shrine structure (kariden) was in front of the Junior Shrine, behind the Sugio Shrine, measuring two ken on each side. The pillars were of Japanese cedar (sugi), roughly hewn, constructed in the manner of a truly temporary structure. (Interlinear note: The northern edge of the treasure house and the northern edge of the Sugio [Shrine] are at the same position.) (Interlinear note: As it is a temporary structure, the entrance was opened on the east side, with the remaining three sides enclosed by boards.)
Item: On the same day, in order to relocate the Junior Shrine, two rokuros (pulleys/winches) were installed approximately eighteen ken to the north, behind the shrine.
Item: The twenty-sixth day, fine weather. Again today, as arranged the previous day, the Head Priest, the Chief Ritualist, the Former Chief Ritualist turned Buddhist monk Ke'an, Shume-no-suke, and the two shrine administrators (zasshō) proceeded together with Lord Gomi to visit Lord Suō. Lord Suō and Lord Gomi were then in the same room, and through Lord Gomi's intermediary, [the sacred treasure document] was viewed item by item.
