現代語訳
平穏な所に茶店を設けて、諸客が鉱泉入浴の余暇にも、また摂養の一端として利用している。
○入山 和田山の西北に連なり、数峰が並び秀でている。大幕・小幕等の名がある。相伝えるところでは、昔、右大将頼朝が陣営をこの山に張ったため、この名が付いたという。山腹に風神の祠がある。
○天神山 入山の山麓にして、和田・水口二村の境界に横たわる。昔、菅公廟を建てたため、この名が付いた。（廟は今、浜町にある）都松の旧跡がある。伊豆誌に古戦録を引用して言うには、僧正善祐が熱海にいた時、都を恋しく思い、手ずから一本の松を植え、その枝を都の方へ押し曲げたところ、いつの間にか繁茂して三十歩に横たわり、枝葉がすべて西になびいていたのも、不思議で哀れな話であるという。今はその松も早や枯れて既に久しい。
○丸山 入山の麓にして、水口村の西北隅にある。周囲八九丁、団円として鉢を覆すのに似ている。頂上に秋葉神社があり、傍らに一亭を設けて来客の眺望を助ける。南面は高く石階を重ね、西は緩やかに土坂を開いている。
○梅園 丸山の西一丁にして、また水口村の内、字池代の地五反余。去る十八年前に新たに田林を開墾して園庭を作る。（長與專齋君の発見に係り、茂木惣兵衛氏の興起によって成る）四望に山壑を巡らし、渓泉は屈曲して天趣幽邃である。加えるに人為の栽培、亭梁の配置、各々その宜しきを得て、歓心娯目の好遊園となった。蓋し今、茂木氏の献ずる所となって御料地に属すといえども、また来遇者の入観を許す。園の側に撫松庵があり、過客の款待に供している。

A tea house has been established in this peaceful place for the various guests to use during their leisure time after bathing in the hot springs, as well as for health maintenance.
○Iriyama: Connected to the northwest of Wadayama, with several peaks rising prominently. It has names like Ōmaku and Komaku. According to tradition, long ago, Right General Yoritomo set up his military camp on this mountain, hence the name. There is a shrine to the wind god on the mountainside.
○Tenjinyama: Located at the foot of Iriyama, lying across the border between Wada and Minokuchi villages. Long ago, a shrine to Sugawara no Michizane was built here, hence the name. (The shrine is now in Hama-machi.) There are ruins of the Miyako Pine. The Izu Records quotes from ancient war chronicles, saying that when High Priest Zen'yū was in Atami, longing for the capital, he planted a pine tree with his own hands and bent its branches toward the capital. Before long, it flourished and stretched thirty paces horizontally, with all its branches and leaves bending westward - a mysterious and touching story. Now that pine has long since withered and died.
○Maruyama: At the foot of Iriyama, located in the northwest corner of Minokuchi village. With a circumference of eight to nine chō, it is round like an overturned bowl. At the summit is Akiba Shrine, and nearby a pavilion has been built to assist visitors' viewing. The south face has high stone steps stacked up, and the west side has gently opened earthen slopes.
○Plum Garden: One chō west of Maruyama, also within Minokuchi village, in the area called Ikeshiro, covering more than five tan. Eighteen years ago, new fields and forests were cleared to create this garden. (Discovered by Lord Nagayo Sensai and established through the initiative of Mr. Mogi Sōbee.) Surrounded by mountain ravines in all four directions, with winding valley streams and profound natural beauty. Combined with human cultivation and the placement of pavilions and structures, each appropriately positioned, it has become a delightful recreational garden for the heart and eyes. Although it now belongs to imperial lands as donated by the Mogi family, visitors are still permitted to enter and view it. Beside the garden is Bushō-an hermitage, which serves to entertain passing guests.
