被 仰付候所年来ニ罷成候ニ付陳【陣誤ヵ】代として
遣度旨被任願候事
一 同五辰年正月蝦夷地御固為御用出起
仕候ニ付於大書院 御目見被 仰付於
小書院御流頂戴仕候事
一 同年九月右御用相済帰陳仕候ニ付
旅服之儘ニ而 御目見被 仰付候

仰せ付けられた所、年来になったため陣代として遣わしたい旨を願い出て許可された。
一 文化五年辰年正月、蝦夷地御固めの御用のため出発することになったため、大書院においてお目見えを仰せ付けられ、小書院において御流（御酒）を頂戴した。
一 同年九月、右の御用が済んで帰陣したため、旅服のままでお目見えを仰せ付けられた。
一 同年十二月、蝦夷地御固めの御用のため赴いた所、海陸往来をはじめ、その地において数日間勤労に従事した。
この御用が済んで残らず帰陣したため、御城において御料理を下し置かれた。
一 文化六年巳年二月、親の願いの通り御番代を仰せ付けられ、梶原平馬組において御城の御番を勤めた。
一 同年八月、蝦夷地御固めの御用を勤め労苦したため、御時服一着を下し置かれた。
一 同月、追鳥狩の節に参加した。

Since the appointment had continued for many years, he requested and was granted permission to send [his son] as a substitute for the military position.
一 In the 1st month of Bunka 5, Year of the Dragon, when he was to depart for official duty defending Ezo-chi, he was granted an audience in the Great Study and received sake in the Small Study.
一 In the 9th month of the same year, when the aforementioned duty was completed and he returned to his post, he was granted an audience while still in traveling clothes.
一 In the 12th month of the same year, when he went on official duty to defend Ezo-chi, he engaged in sea and land transportation and labored for several days in that region.
When this official duty was completed and he returned entirely to his post, he was provided with a meal at the castle.
一 In the 2nd month of Bunka 6, Year of the Snake, as requested by his father, he was appointed as a guard substitute and served castle guard duty in Kajiwara Heima's unit.
一 In the 8th month of the same year, because he served the official duty of defending Ezo-chi and labored diligently, he was granted one ceremonial robe.
一 In the same month, he participated in the bird hunting expedition.
Note: He participated three more times after this.
一 In the 10th month of the same year, during the current bird hunting expedition, [regarding] formation and marching
