一 文化六年己年三月、学校什長として精励して勤務し、
組合の者たちをよく取り扱い、かつ文武の芸に
精進したため、御褒美として綿一把を
下賜された件
一 同年十一月、親の願いの通り初めて
御目見を仰せ付けられた件
一 同七年午年六月、親の願いの通り御番代を
仰せ付けられ、梶原平馬組において御城御番を
勤めた件
一 同八年未年閏二月、学校へ五ヶ年無欠席で
通い、学問に精進した段を仰せ出された

1. In the 6th month of Bunka 7 (1810), as per his father's request,
he was appointed as guard substitute and served
castle guard duty in Kajiwara Heima's unit

that he had attended school for five years without absence
and had applied himself diligently to his studies
