一 五月廿八日為御帰国御礼御使者杉田壱岐《割書：三｜竹》を以奉書紙五十束
昆布一箱干鯛一箱御樽一荷被献之壱岐 御目見被

但 御初入之節二種一荷被指添候処御例ニ相成

一 五月二十八日 帰国の御礼のため、使者杉田壱岐三竹を通じて奉書紙五十束・昆布一箱・干鯛一箱・御樽一荷を献上した。壱岐は御目見を仰せ付けられ退去し、再び自分の御礼を仰せ付けられ、御太刀・銀・馬代を献上した。
ただし 御初入の節は二種一荷を添えていたが、これが御例となった
一 六月一日 使者杉田壱岐三竹が城へ出向いたところ、御返書の御渡しがあり、その節壱岐へ御帷子二つ・御羽織一つの拝領を仰せ付けられた
一 同月八日 東福門院様の御一周忌の御法事があるため、使者久嶋武大夫を京都へ派遣し、御香奠として銀二十枚を献上した。武大夫は今日福井を出立した
一 同月十一日 帰国御礼の使者杉田壱岐三竹の御目見並びに拝領物を仰せ付けられた件について、御礼のため江戸表へ使者を派遣し、御肴一種を献上した

- May 28th: For expressing gratitude for the return to the domain, through messenger Sugita Iki Mitake, presented fifty bundles of formal paper, one box of kelp, one box of dried sea bream, and one load of sake barrels. Iki was granted an audience and withdrew, then was again ordered to present his personal respects, offering a ceremonial sword, silver, and horse substitute money.
Note: During the first entry, two types and one load were added, but this has become the established practice.
- June 1st: When messenger Sugita Iki Mitake appeared at the castle, a reply letter was handed over, and at that time Iki was granted two summer kimonos and one haori jacket.
- June 8th: Due to the first anniversary memorial service for Tōfukumon-in-sama, messenger Kushima Budayū was dispatched to Kyoto, presenting twenty pieces of silver as incense money. Budayū departed from Fukui today.
- June 11th: Regarding the matter of messenger Sugita Iki Mitake being granted an audience and receiving gifts for the gratitude upon returning to the domain, a messenger was dispatched to Edo to express thanks, presenting one type of ceremonial fish.
