越後守様江御渡之御書付
家中江可申渡事
一 当夏一統誓紙仕候以後神文を背互ニ和順之
体無之故雖令下知合点不仕候故此度達
上聞御僉議之上評定所ニ而別紙書附之通一門
中江御預被成候此上不義之者有之候ハヽ逆意
同前ニ候間左様可相心得事
一 先日如申渡前方誓詞差上騒動之儀者子細
有之付而不届無之候一統之誓詞不用事対父子
逆意同前ニ候間此上ハ家中不残致和順奉公
可相勤候右之通於相背者可為曲事候間此旨
具ニ可申聞候已上

一 永見大蔵儀今度小栗美作事ニ付而荻田
主馬一統之者相静可申処左様不仕其上越後守
在国ニ候処相伺不中美作宅江押寄騒動為仕
候事

越後守様へお渡しする御書付
家中へ申し渡すべき事
一 今夏、一同が誓紙を提出した後も、神文に背き互いに和順の
様子がないため、命令を下しても合点しないので、この度上聞に
達し、御評議の上、評定所において別紙書付の通り一門
中へお預けになった。この上不義の者があれば謀反
同然であるから、そのように心得るべき事
一 先日申し渡した通り、以前の誓詞を差し上げ騒動の件については理由が
あってのことで、不届きはなかった。一同の誓詞を用いないことは、父子に対する
謀反同然であるから、この上は家中残らず和順を保ち奉公に
勤めるべきである。右の通りに背く者があれば曲事（処罰対象）となるから、この旨を
詳しく申し聞かせるべきである。以上

一 永見大蔵の件について、今度小栗美作の事により荻田
主馬と一同の者が静粛にすべきところをそのようにせず、その上越後守が
在国している時に相談もせず美作の宅へ押し寄せ騒動を起こした

Matters to be announced to the retainers
1. Since this summer, even after all submitted their pledge documents, they have violated their sacred oaths and shown no signs of mutual harmony. Despite issuing orders, they do not comply. Therefore, this matter has been reported to His Lordship, and after deliberation, it has been decided at the Council Chamber that custody shall be granted to the family members as stated in the separate written document. Henceforth, any who commit wrongdoing shall be considered equivalent to rebels, so this should be understood accordingly.
1. As previously announced, regarding the submission of former pledges and the disturbance - there were reasons for this, and there was no misconduct. Not honoring the collective pledges is equivalent to rebellion against father and son. From now on, all retainers without exception must maintain harmony and serve faithfully. Those who violate these instructions shall be subject to punishment, so this message must be conveyed in detail. The above.

1. Regarding Nagami Ōkura: In this recent matter concerning Oguri Mimasaka, Ogita Shuma and all the others should have remained calm, but they did not do so. Furthermore, while Lord Echigo-no-kami was in his domain, they did not consult him but rushed to Mimasaka's residence and caused a disturbance.
