現代語訳
一、十月二十五日、今度中根長左衛門を御国許（福井）へお引き取りになることにつき、右の長左衛門を引き連れて帰国するよう、御先物頭飯川彦兵衛正俊、大御番小川藤右衛門定時、水野源七宗友へ、月番御家老本多左兵衛道重が申し渡しました。
右につき御徒目付一人、御徒二人を付き添わせることにつき、この段を申し聞かせるよう横目並びに御徒頭へ同人が申し渡しました。
一、同月二十七日、御鷹の鶴を御拝領につき、御用番宅において御老中連名の御奉書並びに鶴一羽、宿継証文を添えてお渡しがありました。右につき御徒沢忠兵衛を付き添わせて御国許へ出立させました。
一、同月二十九日、越後守光長様の御家来で罪科のある者共を、越後守様の御願いの通り御一門方へお預かりになることにつき、右の御礼として御使者水野源七宗友を江戸表へ派遣し、今日福井を出立しました。
但し、右の御使者の江戸着日は不詳です。
一、十一月二日、宿継御奉書をもって御拝領の鶴が福井へ到着し、その節御玄関へ狛十大夫雅際、渡辺権左衛門重祐が出向いて鶴を受け取り、鉄砲の間の御縁頬へ持参して、御同所において鶴を御頂戴し、御奉書を御覧になりました。
一筆啓達いたします。
公方様はますます御勇健でいらっしゃいますので、ご安心ください。

1. On the 25th day of the 10th month, regarding the current matter of taking Nakane Chōzaemon back to the home domain (Fukui), the monthly duty senior retainer Honda Sahyōe Dōshige instructed the senior ashigaru commander Iikawa Hikobee Masatoshi, the ōban guard Ogawa Tōemon Sadatoki, and Mizuno Genshichi Munetomo to escort the aforementioned Chōzaemon back home.
In connection with this, one ashigaru inspector and two ashigaru soldiers were assigned as escorts. The same person instructed the yokome (inspectors) and ashigaru commanders to inform them of this matter.
1. On the 27th day of the same month, regarding the bestowal of a crane from the shogun's hawks, at the duty officer's residence, a formal letter signed by all the senior councilors together with one crane and post-station transfer documents were delivered. In connection with this, ashigaru Sawa Chūbee was assigned as escort and departed for the home domain.

On the 29th day of the same month, regarding the retainers of Echigo-no-kami Mitsunaga-sama who had committed crimes being entrusted to the Matsudaira clan branches as requested by Echigo-no-kami-sama, the messenger Mizuno Genshichi Munetomo was dispatched to Edo to express gratitude for this arrangement and departed from Fukui today.
Note: The date of this messenger's arrival in Edo is unknown.
1. On the 2nd day of the 11th month, the crane bestowed through the post-station official letter arrived in Fukui. At that time, Koma Jūdayū Masasai and Watanabe Gonzaemon Shigesuke went to the entrance hall to receive the crane, brought it to the veranda of the gun room, and there the crane was respectfully received and the official letter was perused.
