一 兵具之外不入道具一切不相求之諸事

一 衣類絹紬より上之物不可着之小身之輩者
木綿紙子等専可用但持来古衣類下着には
不苦へ為羽織有来古者羽二重迄ハ可着縦ふるしと
いふとも毛織之羽織合羽一切可為停止羽二重
ニ而も新羽織ハ可随指図事
現代語訳
御家中の面々が連々勝手（経済状況）が成り立たなくなっていることについて、何とか成り立つように色々と御相談がありましたが、何れも御存じの通りの御勝手（藩の財政）の状況ですので、御難儀をお思いになっておられます。しかしながら、少しでも面々の勝手が取り続くように（やりくりできるように）とお思いになり、このように仰せ出されます。いよいよ簡略にして取り続くように致し、この以後は勝手の願いを申し上げないようにすべきです。もし勝手を無沙汰（放置）して成り行きに任せる者があれば、よろしくないとお思いになりますので、その意を得て堅く相守るべきです。以上
条々
一、兵具の外、不要な道具は一切求めず、諸事簡略にすべきこと
一、衣類は絹・紬より上の物を着てはならない。小身の輩は木綿・紙子等を専ら用いるべきである。但し、持参した古い衣類を下着にするのは構わない。羽織として有り来たりの古い物は羽二重までは着てよい。たとえ古い物であっても、毛織の羽織・合羽は一切停止すべきである。羽二重であっても新しい羽織は指図に従うべきこと
