一、江戸定詰の者どもの面々が指し上げる寸志米高より三分の一減らして指し上げること

一、与力の者どもの寸志米のうち二歩減らして指し上げること

一、お扶持方のことは願いの通りお仰せ付けられた面々は、諸事勝手がなお一層厳しくなるはずであること

一、衣類の件については紬・木綿・紙子を着用すべきで、特に木綿を用いてお番等を勤めること

一、縁者親類であっても全く手前での出来合いなども贈ることは遠慮すべきで、総じて費用のかかることはしてはならないこと

一、屋作等は無用とすべきこと。ただし破損の修繕をしなければならない件については、番頭へ申し達し、役所へ相談して指図に従うこと

一、娘並びに兄弟の縁組みがある者は横目中へ相談し、諸事指図に従うこと

右の条々を堅く守り、今後少しでも借銀をしてはならない

1. Regarding stipend matters, those who have been granted their requests as petitioned shall find their financial circumstances even more constrained in all affairs.

1. Regarding clothing, one should wear pongee, cotton, or paper garments, and particularly use cotton when performing guard duties and other services.

1. Even with relatives and family members, one should refrain from giving any homemade gifts or prepared items, and generally avoid any expensive undertakings.

1. House construction and repairs should be avoided. However, for unavoidable repairs due to damage, one must report to the squad leader and consult with the administrative office to follow their instructions.

1. Those with daughters or siblings of marriageable age must consult with the inspectors and follow instructions in all matters.

The above articles must be strictly observed, and henceforth no borrowing of money, however small, shall be permitted.
