In the Osaka campaigns, he served under Echigo Shōshō-dono《Marginal note: referring to Kōzuke-no-suke-dono》. On the 29th day of the 10th month of Kan'ei 5, he died at the age of 47. His eldest son Izumo-no-kami Nobunao succeeded his father《Marginal note: 50,000 koku》and divided the domain among his younger brothers《Marginal note: Second son Matajūrō Nobuaki 6,000 koku, third son Naiki Nobutoshi 5,000 koku, fourth son Sakyō Nobutomo 4,500 koku. The portions divided among the younger brothers were all obtained from surveying the original domain, it is said》. On the 7th day of the 9th month of Kanbun 12, he retired, and died in the 11th month of Enpō 4. His son Shinano-no-kami Nobuhiro【廣】received his father's inheritance and succeeded to the house.
Izu-no-kami Minamoto Yoshikatsu《Marginal note: his original name was Magozaemon》was the second son of Hōki-no-kami Hidekatsu. In Keichō 6, at the age of 18, he first had an audience with the Ōgosho, and in this year was granted court rank and appointed Izu-no-kami. In the same tenth-odd year, from the Shogun's house

he was granted domain in Kanra District, Kōzuke Province《Marginal note: 2,000 koku》. In the 15th year his father died, and his elder brother Hōki-no-kami Nobukatsu tried to divide and grant him domain, but Yoshikatsu declined and would not accept it. Nobukatsu finally reported this matter to the Shogun's house. By [the Shogun's] command, Yoshikatsu combined this with his own domain and ruled it《Marginal note: He was divided 12,000 koku, which combined with his original domain totaled 14,000 koku that he ruled》. In the campaigns before and after Osaka, he served as the Shogun's house's vanguard. His eldest son Tosa-no-kami Masakatsu received his father's inherited domain in Kan'ei 11《Marginal note: 10,000 koku ○ The year, month, and day of Yoshikatsu's death are not yet clear.
