二三日以前稲吉宿には八田在住の医者の息子が切り殺された由、こちらから飛脚を立てた由
天保年間に鋳造された二朱金については追って通用停止を仰せ出される間、所持している者どもは早々に引き替えて差し出すべし。右手当として百両につき金三十両ずつ持ち主へ下される。御金改役所並びに京都大坂その外諸引替御用を勤める者どもの内へ早々差し出し引き替えるべし
右の趣旨、御料は代官領主地頭より漏れのないよう触れを出すべし

Two or three days ago at Inayoshi-juku, the son of a doctor residing in Hatta was killed by sword, and a messenger was dispatched from here regarding this matter.
Regarding the two-shu gold coins minted during the Tempō era, their circulation will be stopped by future proclamation, so those who possess them should quickly exchange and submit them. As compensation for this, thirty ryō of gold per hundred ryō will be given to the holders. They should quickly submit them to the Gold Inspection Office and to those in Kyoto, Osaka, and other places who handle various exchange duties for prompt exchange.
Regarding the above matter, for imperial lands, the administrators, domain lords, and local lords should issue notices ensuring no omissions.
