二日 宵より小雨降る丑寅風にて寒し四つ過ぎより雨止み風強し夕方風も止む 《四十五度|五月の節》《芒種》 三日(入梅) 朝より快晴寒し朝五つ前に地震終日天気良し 《四十八度》 四日 朝より快晴寒し 《四十九度》 五日 朝より快晴少し暑なり 《五十度》 先月二十二日夜猿若町三座とも残らず消失右最寄り馬道辺大火五六町四方も焼けた趣、回向院角力昨日より初立て申し候えども雨天にて難渋の由 四月二十九日 四日夜岩万へ参り小倉袴二反結城島に三反貸してくれる様帯刀にて頭巾を被り居りて申し候由に付き御用立ては差し支える趣断り候えば刀を抜く故皆々逃げ候えばその品持参いたし候由、三人泉町田のや十吉にても三人参りその内頭巾を被り表に一人立ち居り三四両の品も持ち逃げいたし候由、泉町古内やにても三人にて参り二両ほどの品持ち逃げいたし候由

In the vicinity near Umamichi, a great fire burned an area of 5-6 chō square. The sumo wrestling at Ekōin corner was supposed to begin yesterday, but it was difficult due to rainy weather. April 29th On the night of the 4th, [someone] went to Iwaman, wearing a sword and hood, requesting to borrow 2 tan of Kokura hakama and 3 tan from Yūki Island.
