聖諭之趣も有之候間此上一際行届候様いた
し度就而は日用不可欠之品ニ而も銅鉄之器
物以来相廃手元之分悉ク下ケ遣候ニ付速ニ

聖諭の趣きも有之候間、此の上一際行き届き候様致し度く、就いては日用不可欠の品にても銅鉄の器物以来相廃し、手元の分悉く下げ遣わし候に付き、速やかに砲器に鋳興申すべく候。両山紅葉山等の燈籠其の外までも銅鉄の分は追々砲器に鋳興候様致すべく候。一同格別に奮発致し、兵備行き届き候様致すべく候。

近来浪人体の者この領内へも横行致し、攘夷の名義を借り猥りに富家へ難題申し懸け、金子等を貪り乱妨ケ間敷き儀も有之候趣相聞え、甚だ以って如何の事に候。先達ても相達し候通り、公方様御上洛御留守中、御取締筋の儀御家へ御委託の御砌と申し、猶更御行き届きに相成らず候ては、公辺に対し相済まざる段、御配慮も在らせられ候事に候へば、右様の者於いて有之は、用捨無く搦め捕り訴え出で、若し手余り候節は打ち捨て候とも苦しからざる旨御達しの事。

There are also imperial edicts on this matter, so we wish to make this even more thorough. Regarding this, even daily necessities made of bronze and iron shall be discontinued from now on, and all such items in our possession shall be removed and promptly recast into cannons. The bronze and iron lanterns at both mountains, Momijiyama and others, shall also be gradually recast into artillery. Everyone should make extraordinary efforts to ensure military preparations are properly completed.

Recently, masterless samurai have been roaming through this domain as well, borrowing the pretext of expelling foreigners to make unreasonable demands on wealthy families and greedily extorting money, committing disorderly acts. This is extremely problematic. As previously communicated, during the Shogun's absence for his journey to Kyoto, the responsibility for maintaining order has been entrusted to our house. If we fail to maintain proper control, we cannot justify ourselves to the government, which is a matter of great concern. Therefore, regarding such individuals, they should be captured without mercy and reported. If they resist arrest, it is acceptable to strike them down.
