桑ヲ与フルニ度数ヲ記シテ軽重ノ量ヲ記サス庭
休論ニ桑附テ第三日ニ至リ起裏（オキウラ）ヲ去ルトアリ則

失敗する人も亦多いであろう。私は敢えて先輩を
非難することを望まないが、世人を誤らせることを恐れ、これ
について弁明せざるを得ない。思うに秘録は雑多で要点が少な
く、栞は簡潔すぎて尽くされておらず、輯要は一家の私見であって一般的
な公論ではない。ただ新論の一書は先輩が未だ発表していない養蚕法を
詳しく述べ、公正な議論と至言が最も多い。惜しむらくは一点驕慢な
気風を帯びているため、編中で誇大に自らを正しいとし、山間の第宅に住む
人をしてこの業に従事することができないようにさせ、人家の密集
した地においてはこれを養うべからずとする弊害があ
る。その掃立て論において火力が絶対になければ蚕は成長しないとあ
るが、論中では却って用いるべからずという如き前後矛盾
して、これに従う理由を知らない。また獅子休みの論において

き去る勤怠にあるという如き漠然とした言葉で、
桑を与えるのに回数を記して軽重の量を記さない。庭
休み論において桑付けして第三日に至り起蚕を去るとあるが、則
ち前論と食い違う。庭蚕の桑付けの起蚕座は気候が暖かなれ
ば朝に桑付けして夕に除き去るほどのこともあるであろう。然る
に三日に至って始めてこれを除けば蚕に病気を発する
ことは必定である。また蚕室の四方及び中央に数箇の穴を開
け空気の流通をつけてより蚕病の患いなしと言える

at seventy degrees rest after eight days, and at sixty degrees the molting stage is inevitably
reached in nine to ten days, but the amounts of mulberry and time periods do not match. Or
statements like "the maturity or immaturity of silkworms depends only on adjusting the temperature of the silkworm room and
the diligence in removing silkworm droppings" are vague,
recording the frequency of giving mulberry but not the quantities by weight. In the garden
rest theory, it states that silkworms should be removed on the third day after feeding mulberry, which
contradicts the previous theory. For garden-stage silkworms' feeding beds, when the weather is warm,
one might feed mulberry in the morning and remove it in the evening. However,
if one waits until the third day to remove it, the silkworms will certainly
