罷出候処御城廻り石垣御修復御願ニ付而之御奉書御渡有之

ただし右の品物は飛鳥井左衛門督殿の邸宅まで送られることになったため、御使者の堤安右衛門が
受け取り、同月二十九日に福井へ到着した
一 十月二日 内膳直知様が奥御詰に任命された（先月十九日）ことについて、御礼のため御使者渥美
八左衛門を江戸表へ派遣した。今日福井を出発
一 同月五日 御用番稲葉丹後守正通殿より呼び出しがあり、御留守居堀十兵衛久律が
出向いたところ、御城廻りの石垣御修復の願いについての御奉書を受け取った

越前国福井城の三の丸西南の方角の外曲輪の
石垣一ヶ所が崩れたため築き直したい旨、絵図書付の通り
その意を得て、元のように修補すべきである。恐々謹言

However, since the aforementioned gifts were to be sent to the residence of Lord Asukai Saemon-no-kami, messenger Tsutsumi Yasuemon
received them and arrived in Fukui on the 29th of the same month.
One: October 2nd - Regarding Lord Naizen Naotomo being appointed to oku-o-tsume (inner palace duty) (on the 19th of last month), messenger Atsumi
Hachizaemon was dispatched to Edo for expressing gratitude. He departed from Fukui today.
One: Same month, 5th - There was a summons from Lord Inaba Tango-no-kami Masamichi, the duty officer, and when resident representative Hori Jūbei Hisanori
went to attend, he received an official document regarding the request for repairing the stone walls around the castle.

Regarding the stone wall at one location in the outer bailey to the southwest of the third bailey of Fukui Castle in Echizen Province
that collapsed and needs to be rebuilt, as shown in the attached drawings and documents,
understanding this intention, it should be repaired as before. With utmost respect and care.
