老中との面会があり、退出後にお礼として老中・御側御用人のもとへ挨拶回りをされた。
一 四月四日 登城された（前日三日に御用番土屋相模守殿から連名の御切紙が来た）。参勤のお礼を申し上げ、例の通り御太刀・銀・綿を献上された。御台様へは白銀・縮緬を指し上げ、桂昌院様へも同様に指し上げられた。退出の際にお礼として老中・御側御用人・若年寄中へ挨拶回りをされた。
一 同月八日 日光山において大猷院様五十回忌の法事があるため、御機嫌伺いとして使者を以て御桧重一組を献上された。
一 同月十二日 同じく日光表へ御名代として永見治部右衛門義正を派遣された（御留守居堀十兵衛が同道）。御香奠として銀五枚を献上され、治部右衛門は今日江戸を出立した。
ただし同月十八日に三仏堂へ赴き御香奠を納めた。
一 同月二十日 東叡山において同じく法事があるため、公方様が御参詣されることに伴い御予参の勤めをされた（束帯着用）。
一 同月二十一日 法事が済んだため、使者として御留守居村上三太夫正峯を以て精進上げの御肴（干鯛）一箱を献上された。
一 同日 端午の祝儀として使者を以て例の通り御帷子・御単を献上され、御台様・桂昌院様へは白銀を指し上げられた。
ただし二十六日から公儀の法事のため引き上げとなった。

There was an audience with the rōjū (senior councilors), and after withdrawing, he made courtesy calls to the rōjū and goyō-gakari (close attendants) as thanks.
1. April 4th: He attended the castle (on the previous day, the 3rd, a joint written notice came from Tsuchiya Sagami-no-kami, who was on duty). He expressed gratitude for his sankin (alternate attendance) and presented the customary offerings of a ceremonial sword, silver, and cotton. To Midaidokoro-sama (the Shogun's wife), he presented white silver and silk crepe, and the same to Keishōin-sama. Upon withdrawing, he made courtesy calls to the rōjū, goyō-gakari, and wakadoshiyori (junior councilors) as thanks.
1. April 8th: For the 50th memorial service of Daiyūin-sama (Tokugawa Iemitsu) at Mount Nikkō, he sent a messenger to inquire about his well-being and presented one set of cypress boxes.
1. April 12th: For the same purpose, he dispatched Nagami Jibu-uemon Yoshimasa as his representative to Nikkō (accompanied by keeper Hori Jūbei). He presented five pieces of silver as incense money, and Jibu-uemon departed Edo today.
Note: On the 18th of the same month, he went to Sanbutsudō and offered the incense money.
1. April 20th: For the same memorial service at Tōeizan, because the Shogun was making a pilgrimage, he performed the preliminary visit duty (wearing sokutai court dress).
1. April 21st: Since the memorial service was completed, through messenger and keeper Murakami Santayū Masamine, he presented one box of fish for breaking the vegetarian fast (dried sea bream).
1. Same day: For the Boys' Day celebration, through a messenger, he presented the customary summer kimono and unlined garments as usual, and presented white silver to Midaidokoro-sama and Keishōin-sama.
Note: From the 26th, due to the government's memorial service, he withdrew.
