気色する時其人下臈の所望にし

現代語訳
【右丁】
様子を伺う時、その人が下位の者の所望に従って立ち退かれるならば申すまでもない。その儀がなければやむを得ずその所に立つべきである。公方がお立ちになる時は各々座を動くべきである。また丈（年長者）が立つ時、また師匠が立つ時も同様である。
一 三段の事
蹴鞠には序破急があるべきである。初めは木の下深くに立って、分に従って蹴鞠の丈（長さ・高さ）を低く抑えて、ことさら自分と他人の分をよく見分けて穏やかに蹴るべきである。これは序の段階の時であるべきである。
【左丁】
破の段階においては少し木の下を立ち離れるようにして鞠の高さを控えめにして、時々曲芸も交えて蹴るべきである。終盤には急の段階になれば、どんなにも回数を重ねて木にかけず、なお鞠の高さを慎んで互いに忠義を尽くし興を催すべきである。しきりに自他の分を明らかにして、それぞれが声の調子を添えて進退が乱れない中にも激しく蹴り上げるべきである。

If this is not the case, one has no choice but to stand in that location. When the shogun stands, everyone should move from their seats. The same applies when an elder stands, and when a master stands.
One: On the Three Stages
Kemari should have jo-ha-kyū (introduction-development-climax). Initially, one should stand deep under the tree, and according to one's rank, keep the ball low and restrained, taking special care to distinguish well between one's own and others' roles, kicking gently.

This should be the jo (introductory) stage. In the ha (development) stage, one should move slightly away from under the tree, keep the ball height moderate, and occasionally incorporate artistic techniques while kicking. In the final phase, when it reaches the kyū (climax) stage, one should increase the number of kicks without letting the ball touch the tree, still keeping the ball height restrained, with everyone dedicating themselves fully and building excitement. Continuously making clear the distinction between self and others, each adding vocal expressions, and while maintaining proper deportment without disorder, one should kick vigorously.
