…そのため（楽器を）持参され、初めて音楽が奏でられたとのことである。そのため、その楽器はこの日（昨日より訂正）こちらに預け置かれ、京へ帰られた。
七日 今日は寄合（会合）なし。
八日 小雨。保庸・刑顕・許可の灌頂当日である。ただし、翌日が（前回から数えて）二十一日目にあたるため、夜半過ぎに授与すべきとのことで、各自が講所に集まった。予（筆者）は護摩の行事を執り行った。保庸には保進が、刑顕には季周がそれぞれ（灌頂を）授けた。三科の行事は氏澄が執り行い、鈴の儀が終わった後に（灌頂が）授けられた。許可の次第以下については、別に記載がある。
今日、壇上の荘厳の様子は左（の図）に示す通りである。今夜、西市正・福久の子である権大夫保家へ聟入りがあった。また、左近将監氏道の妻として、古庸顕の息女が嫁いだ。

…For this reason, (the instruments) were brought along, and music was performed for the first time. The instruments were then left in our care on this day (corrected from "yesterday"), and (the musicians) returned to Kyoto.
7th day: No gathering (yoriai) today.
8th day: Light rain. Today is the day of the kanjō (initiation/consecration ceremony) for Yasuyō, Keiken, and Kyoka. However, since the following day marks the twenty-first day (from the previous ceremony), it was decided that the initiation should be conferred after midnight. Everyone assembled at the lecture hall (kōsho). I (the author) presided over the goma (fire ritual). Hoshinshin conferred (the initiation) upon Yasuyō, and Suenori (季周) conferred it upon Keiken. The three-subject ceremony (sanka gyōji) was conducted by Ujizumi; after the bell-ringing ritual concluded, the initiation was conferred. The proceedings of the kyoka ceremony and those that follow are listed separately.
Today, the altar decoration and solemn adornments are shown in the figure on the left. Tonight, a wedding ceremony (muko-iri) took place for Gonno-Tayū Yasuke, son of Nishi-Ichinokamikō/Fukuhisa. Additionally, the daughter of Koyōken was married as the wife of Sakon-no-shōgen Ujimichi.
