The following was announced (though the recorder was initially unaware of this):
Concerning the reception and cleaning arrangements for when Lord Echizen-no-Kami comes for an inspection visit: as the route of his approach from either east or west is unknown, two or three members of the Ryōkan (the two officials) and ujibito (shrine attendants) are to be dispatched to Ōta, and similarly two or three members of the Ryōkan are to be sent to the Ujigami shrine. In addition, all one hundred sixty persons at the shrine precinct are to present themselves in the area near the御所屋 (the shrine lord's residence) to pay their respects. Notice is to be sent to the shrine servants (奉公人衆) that proxies (名代) should be appointed. Without such arrangements, the reception would appear unseemly due to a lack of people.
As for who shall go to Kifune — the Ryōkan and [others to be determined].
On the coming eleventh day, the ridge-raising ceremony (御上棟) for the inner shrine (奥社) at Kifune is to be held at the Hour of the Rabbit (approximately 6:00 a.m.). From around midday on the tenth, the shrine priests, Ryōkan, and two or three ujibito are to proceed there. Various deliberations were held as to whether a barrel of sake should be sent to Taninakaも, but it was decided that it should not be sent.
Furthermore, it was determined that the ritual offerings (御料) of [the illegible term] shall be sent to the magistrates (奉行衆) from what the Ryōkan has received. Although it is not necessarily a matter that the Ryōkan must always receive, on this occasion, for the first time, the seven families of shrine priests came together in agreement and insisted on receiving it. This is something that has never occurred since ancient times.
