〔前ページより続く：貴布祢社・片岡社の風記（ほのぎ）の宣旨について〕
年中に、官務（かんむ）より神主亭（かんぬしてい）へ、その社（やしろ）の遷宮（せんぐう）の日のために〔宣旨を〕持たせて遣わされ候。然りといえども、押し置きて甲斐（かい）無し。前廉（まえかど）に宣旨使（せんじつかい）が参られ候節、則ち進むべき由と申し候とのことなり。
廿八日 晴れ。未刻（ひつじこく）に宣旨使（せんじつかい）・山名主計（やまなかずえ）三善亮兼（みよしすけかね）、副使（ふくし）は青木頼母（あおきたのも）利行（としゆき）、覧筥持（らんばこもち）は官務（かんむ）の青侍（あおざむらい）なり。
参向（さんこう）の作法（さほう）は〔前回と〕同前（どうぜん）。ただし、今日は貴布祢社（きふねしゃ）・片岡社（かたおかしゃ）の分〔の宣旨〕について、新宮社前（しんぐうしゃぜん）にて、就久（しゅっきゅう）〔＝神職〕が束帯（そくたい）にて出て、立ちながら〔宣旨を〕請け取る。その作法は、宣旨使が門より入り、東方に向かって西面する。就久は東面し、間（ま）一間（いっけん）ほど〔の距離を置き〕、双方一度に一揖（いちゆう）する。次に、覧筥（らんばこ）を持ちたる者が宣旨使に渡す。宣旨使より就久へ渡され、〔就久は〕ともに召し連れ候烏帽子布衣（えぼしほうい）〔の者〕と共に受け取る（京の者を雇也）。立ちながら受け取り、就久が拝見・披見（ひけん）し了（おわ）りて、互いに一揖（いちゆう）して向かい〔合いながら〕退く。
次に、玉橋（たまばし）より出て諏訪社（すわしゃ）を拝し、橋殿（はしどの）の上の方・橋本（はしもと）にて片岡社（かたおかしゃ）に向かいて立ちて待つ。次に片岡（かたおか）の祝職（はふりしょく）〔の〕就久が束帯・下重（したがさね）にて楼門（ろうもん）の後ろ・玉橋より向かい〔来て〕、宣旨使との間、凡そ一間（いっけん）ほど〔の距離を保ち〕、互いに一度に一揖（いちゆう）する。

[Continued from the previous page: Regarding the imperial decree (senjī) for the land registers (fūki/honogi) of Kifune Shrine and Kataoka Shrine]
During the year, [the decree] was sent via the Kanmu (Office of Shrine Affairs) to the chief priest's residence (kannushi-tei), to be held against the day of the shrine's relocation ceremony (sengū). However, it was simply set aside without purpose. [It was decided that] when the imperial decree messenger (senjī-tsukai) came on a future occasion, it should then be duly presented.
28th Day: Clear weather. At the Hour of the Sheep (approximately 2:00 p.m.), the imperial decree messenger (senjī-tsukai) Yamana Kazue Miyoshi-no-suke-kane arrived, with Deputy Messenger (fukushi) Aoki Tanomo Toshiyuki, and the carrier of the inspection box (ranbako-mochi) being a junior retainer (aozamurai) of the Kanmu.
The ceremonial protocol for the arrival (sankō) was the same as before. However, today, concerning the [imperial decrees] for Kifune Shrine and Kataoka Shrine, [the ritual priest] Shukkyū appeared before the Shingū Shrine in full court dress (sokutai) and received [the decrees] while standing. The ceremonial procedure was as follows: the imperial decree messenger entered through the gate and faced west while positioned on the eastern side. Shukkyū faced east, with a distance of approximately one ken (approx. 1.8 m) between them, and both parties bowed simultaneously (ichiyu). Next, the carrier of the inspection box (ranbako) passed it to the decree messenger, who then passed it to Shukkyū; Shukkyū received it together with attendants dressed in lacquered caps (eboshi) and plain silk robes (hōi) (these were hired men from Kyoto). While standing, Shukkyū received and inspected (haiken/hiken) the contents, after which both parties bowed to each other once again and withdrew facing one another.
Next, [the procession] went out through the Tama Bridge (Tamabashi), paid respects at Suwa Shrine, and waited at the upper end of the bridge hall (hashidono) — at the foot of the bridge (hashimoto) — facing Kataoka Shrine. Then, the ritual priest (hafuri-shoku) Shukkyū of Kataoka [came forward] wearing full court dress (sokutai) and inner robes (shitagasane), coming from behind the two-storied gate (rōmon) via the Tama Bridge. [He maintained] a distance of approximately one ken from the decree messenger, and both parties bowed simultaneously once.
