四人が出向き、順久を呼び出して相談した。この場所はもともと東から一間余り西へずれて、社中の土地を不法に取得していたことは隠しようのない事実であるが、現在の当主は知らなかったことである。このようにさせておいて、今更あれこれ申すのもどうかということで、たとえ一尺余り東へ寄せた塀の覆いができたとしても、社中へ取り込む（認める）ということで、ご考慮いただければ適当であろうと申し述べた。（先方は）承知したので、それで結構であると申し合った。
六日 寄合にて、今日より寛文六年以来閉鎖されていた湯屋（浴場）を開くこととなった。当番の精進頭・潔斎の者は各自、行水を行うようにと、翁士（おきなし）が定めの一札を掲げた。

Four people went out and called upon Yorihisa to discuss the matter. It was an undeniable fact that this location had originally been encroached upon—taken illegally from shrine grounds—by shifting more than one ken westward from the east. However, the current master was unaware of this. It was agreed that it would be questionable to raise objections at this late stage over something that had been allowed to continue as it was, and so even if a fence covering that extended just over one shaku eastward were to be constructed, it was proposed that it should be accommodated by the shrine community, and that this consideration would be appropriate. The other party consented, and it was agreed that this arrangement would suffice.
The 6th Day: At the assembly, it was decided that beginning today, the bathhouse (yuya), which had been closed since the 6th year of Kanbun, would be reopened. The duty Shōjin-gashira (head of ritual abstinence) and those observing purification were each required to perform ritual ablutions (gyōzui), as declared by the Okina-shi (elder official) in a posted notice.
