今度葵丸ニセラルヽ也
御薗天正 弘治ハ小葵織物ヲヘリトシテ
中ハ地紋サキ葵白綾上紋■丸也小葵トハ

現代語訳
今回（の御指貫は）葵丸の文様に改められた。
御薗（みその）については、天正・弘治年間には小葵織物を縁取りとし、中央は地紋として先葵（さきあおい）の白綾に上紋として（葵）丸を施したものであった。「小葵」とは禁中（宮中）の小葵文様のことで、菱垣に荊の花を組み合わせたものである。寛永五年には御太刀袋・御弓袋に用いられたものである。今回は当社（賀茂社）の小葵文様を使用し、上紋は赤糸にて巴の丸を表したものである。
貴布祢社（貴船神社）は古くより巴丸を用いており、当社（賀茂社）は玉座に替えることのないようにと、（従来は）花丸あるいは葵花丸を用いてきたが、今回が（この文様の）初めての採用である。
御茶碗は銀メッキ、台も同様。御盃は銀メッキで、台は金メッキに牡丹を彫った馬頭台（うまがしらだい）である。
御箸は銀メッキの台付き。
御屏風・御衣架・大床子（おおとこしょ）・柳筥（やなぎばこ）・楾（はんぞう）・角盥（つのたらい）、いずれも前例のとおり。
今日は本宮のみの分（の儀式・準備）である。
辛櫃（からびつ）の帷子（ゆたん）はすべて大和錦の五色葵紋である。
一、来たる十六日、正遷宮の夜に七町の月行事（を担う者が）幾度も（参集する旨）……

The (御指貫, formal court trousers) have been changed to the "aoi-maru" (hollyhock roundel) pattern on this occasion.
Regarding the御薗 (misono, sacred garden/cloth): During the Tenshō and Kōji eras, small hollyhock (ko-aoi) woven fabric was used as the border, with the center featuring a white damask with a saki-aoi (hollyhock) ground pattern and a roundel as the upper design. The "ko-aoi" refers to the small hollyhock pattern used at the imperial court—a design combining diamond lattice with thistle-like flowers. In the fifth year of Kan'ei, this was used for the sword bag (御太刀袋) and bow bag (御弓袋). On this occasion, the ko-aoi pattern specific to this shrine is used, with the upper design being a tomoe (comma-shaped) roundel executed in red thread.
Kibune Shrine (貴布祢社) has traditionally used the tomoe roundel since ancient times, while this shrine (Kamo Shrine), so as not to alter what is placed at the sacred seat (玉座), has used either a floral roundel or a hollyhock flower roundel—and this occasion marks the first time (this particular design has been adopted).
The御茶碗 (ceremonial tea bowl) is silver-plated, as is its stand. The御盃 (ceremonial cup) is silver-plated, and its stand is gold-plated with carved peony designs, made in the "horse-head stand" (馬頭台) style.
The御箸 (ceremonial chopsticks) come with a silver-plated stand.
The御屏風 (folding screen), 御衣架 (clothes rack), 大床子 (large dais), 柳筥 (willow box), 楾 (water pitcher), and 角盥 (rectangular washbasin) are all as before (following precedent).
Today's preparations are for the Main Shrine (本宮) only.
The coverings (ゆたん) for the辛櫃 (karabitu, storage chests) are all made of Yamato brocade in the five-color aoi (hollyhock) pattern.
One item: On the coming 16th, on the night of the formal shrine relocation ceremony (正遷宮), the monthly duty officers (月行事) of the seven districts (七町) are to gather multiple times...
