現代語訳
氏人（うじびと）の内蔵允保守（くらのじょうやすもり）ら三名である。朔日（ついたち）に返事を聞きに参上する予定とのことである。
夜になって宰人（さいにん）のもとへ、明日伺いに参上する際、「寛永の時には御目見え（おめみえ）をしたのか、また拝領物（はいりょうもの）はなかったのか」とお尋ねになった際にはどのように答えるべきかという評議が行われた。各家の日記を調べたが分からず、葵礼（あおいれい）と兼ねた形であったようである。

The ujibito (shrine people/hereditary shrine members) include Kura-no-jō Yasumori and two others — three persons in total. It is noted that they are to visit on the first day of the month to receive a reply.
In the evening, a deliberation was held regarding how to respond when calling upon the sainin (shrine administrator) the following day, specifically concerning the question of whether an audience (omemie) had been granted during the Kan'ei era, and whether there had been any gifts bestowed (hairyōmono). The household diaries were consulted but yielded no clear answer; it appears the occasion had been combined with the Aoi Ceremony (Aoi-rei).
