来年は惣鼻返（そうはなかえし）であり、一枚も残らないことは前代未聞である。
五人山守（ごにんやまもり）
二日 晴れ 寄合があった。貴布祢（きふね）奥社内陣の飾りの道具が一つも残らず（浜床・几帳などのことである）、山直（やまじき）の五男、求目秀直（もとめひでなお）〔が関係しているとのこと〕。
三河国（みかわのくに）の賀茂社の御内陣が殊の外破損しているので、修復を申請したいとの状（じょう）一通を差し出した。
次に、手職（てしき）として久しく申していることには、播州・室（むろ）明神の御内陣も損傷しているので、これも権社（ごんしゃ）の分として申請したいとのことである。
各自へ遣わすべき旨ではあるが、重ねてもう一度、衆評（しゅうひょう）を経るのが然るべきであるとの定めとなった。何とかこの程度の申請であれば、礼物（れいもつ）を添えて申請するのが然るべきではないかとのことである。
先月、神光院（じんこういん）より申し来たったことには、当社の御造改（おんぞうかい）〔についてのこと〕……

Second Day, Clear: A meeting (yoriai) was held. All the furnishings of the inner sanctuary (naijin) of the Kifune Rear Shrine (Kibune Okumiya) — including the hamayuka (ceremonial platform/dais) and kichō (curtain stands), among other items — were found to be entirely missing. [This matter involves] Motome Hidenao, the fifth son of Yamajiki.
A letter was submitted requesting repairs to the inner sanctuary (naijin) of the Kamo Shrine in Mikawa Province, which has fallen into considerable disrepair.
Furthermore, regarding a matter that has been raised for some time concerning the hand-duties (teshiki): it was stated that the inner sanctuary of the Muro Myōjin in Banshu (Harima Province) is also in disrepair, and a request was made to apply for repairs under the allocation for the subordinate shrine (gonsha) as well.
It was determined that while these matters should be communicated to the respective parties, it would be proper to submit them once more to a council (shūhyō) for deliberation. It was also raised that, for a request of this magnitude, it would be appropriate to include a gift (reimotsu) when making the application.
