驚くべきことなので、直時を召し寄せられるべきではないかと議論されたが、かねてからお聞き及びになっていたことがあったのだろうか、そのとおりになった。直時を召して、故越前守直好の男子直矩にその所領を返し与えられた。程なくまた直矩が病気もなく突然死んだので、世の無常に（根拠のないことも言われた。詳しいことは分からない）。直矩はまだ養子がいなかったので、所領は収公された。同じ年の六月二十一日、隠岐守直時を召され、「汝の父祖の家が絶えることは不憫の至りである。別の理由をもって汝に所領を給う」と仰せ下された（五万石）。直時もまた程なく翌五年七月二十七日に卒去し、その子主殿直智が父に続いた。

土方
河内守源雄久は大和守頼親（頼光の弟）七代の孫土方太郎秀治の後胤、彦太郎某の男子である。雄久の父彦太郎某は織田殿の手に属し、天文の末に美濃国に向かい、土岐の勢と戦って討ち死にした。雄久は年わずか二歳で父に遅れ（童名は彦五郎）、成長の後、勘兵衛尉と名乗って北畠殿に仕えた。生年十八歳の時、伊賀国の戦いで手強い敵二人に槍を取って渡り合い、一人を突き伏せ、一人の打太刀を槍の柄で受け流し、引き寄せて刺し殺し、ついに二人の首を取った。これが高名の始まりで、度々の武勇を表して天正十二年春、北畠殿

This was so shocking that it was debated whether Naotoki should be summoned, but perhaps there was something that had already come to the lord's attention, for that is exactly what happened. Naotoki was summoned and the domain was returned to Naonori, the son of the late Echizen-no-kami Naoyoshi. Soon after, Naonori again died suddenly without illness, leading to talk about the transience of worldly affairs (unfounded claims were also made; the details are unknown). Since Naonori had no adopted heir, his domain was confiscated by the government. On the 21st day of the 6th month of the same year, Oki-no-kami Naotoki was summoned and told: "It would be most pitiful for your ancestral house to be extinguished. For separate reasons, we grant you a domain" (50,000 koku). Naotoki also died not long after, on the 27th day of the 7th month of the following 5th year, and his son Tonomo-no-kami Naotomo succeeded his father.

Kawachi-no-kami Minamoto Takehisa was the son of a certain Hikotarō, descendant of Hijikata Tarō Hideharu, who was the great-great-great-great-great-grandson of Yamato-no-kami Yorichika (younger brother of Yorimitsu). Takehisa's father, a certain Hikotarō, served under Lord Oda and went to Mino Province at the end of the Tenbun era, where he died in battle against the forces of the Toki clan. Takehisa lost his father when he was only two years old (his childhood name was Hikogoro). After reaching maturity, he took the name Kanbe-no-jō and served Lord Kitabatake. At age eighteen, in the battle of Iga Province, he engaged two formidable enemies with his spear, struck down one, deflected the other's sword strike with his spear shaft, pulled him close and stabbed him to death, ultimately taking both their heads.
