なる彼党の詰問甚だしきより、ついに人望を失い、大
なる失策を生ずるまで互いに争論脅迫せり。かつ
自ら識る所の政府の過失を問わるるに至りて、隠
すべくも防御すべくも手段なく、やむを得ず暴言
して死刑に処せんと脅せり。然れども其の実は己れ
の勇気をもってはなすこと能わず。○戦争の決する
に方りて、ここに暫時の静なることあり。この時において
報国の赤心をもって帝に抵抗する者を鎮圧せ
り。狡猾にして詭計を用いる人ありて「オリヴィエ
ール」を輔け、その既に失いし所の人望を回復すべ
