当社領・加賀国金津庄の件について、（これまで）当知行（現に支配・管理）していたところ、国（内）の錯乱（戦乱・混乱）以来、（年貢・公用が）沙汰なし（未納・不納）とのことは、はなはだもって然るべからず（不当である）。結局のところ、（国内が）静謐（平定・平穏）となった上は、直務（荘官を介さず本所・領家が直接管理すること）として、領知を全うし（すべての支配権を保全し）、御祈祷の丹誠（誠心誠意の祈祷）に一層励むべき旨、仰せ下された（命令が下された）ところである。よって執達（伝達・通達）、件（くだん）のごとし。

Concerning Kanatsu Estate in Kaga Province, a holding of this shrine: although it has been under current administration (tōchigyō), it is reported that since the outbreak of disorder in the province (kuni no sakuran), the dues have gone unremitted — this is entirely unacceptable. Once peace and order (seihitsu) are restored, the estate is to be administered directly (jikmu) and full control of the domain is to be maintained, and it is commanded that every sincere effort be devoted to the offering of prayers (gokitō). This notification is issued accordingly.
