現代語訳
朝比奈が破れかぶれになって、荒々しく御所へ踏み込み、残兵や広田の奴原を捕まえて首を引き抜く。

寄せ手の大勢が片端から打ち倒され、あれよあれよという間に鎌倉の御所まで来てしまった。
それは小林というほどのことはある。皆々門の内へ逃げ込み、門を堅く閉ざして、内から大勢で開けまいと取り付いて押さえていた。しかしながら、何を恐れようか、荒武者小林の勇力、その門を押し破ったので、数千の死人が殿中に転がり、修羅場は大方ならず。

The large attacking force was struck down one after another, and before anyone knew it, they had reached the Kamakura palace itself.
This is what one would expect from Kobayashi. Everyone fled inside the gates, barricading them tightly shut, with crowds from within clinging to keep them closed. However, what should the fierce warrior Kobayashi fear? With his tremendous strength, he broke through the gates, and thousands of corpses lay scattered throughout the palace halls - the carnage was beyond description.
