よりて
当御代に至り候よりこのかた世の人の申沙汰
し候事共をも尋きわめられ各僉議の上を
以て金銀の品慶長の法のことくになし返
さるへき事に議定せられ候其通用の法
引替の定等の事ハつまひらかに別紙に相
見へ候ことくに候今度此御沙汰におゐてハ
前御代の御旨によられ天下後代迄のためを
以ての御事に候上は貴賤貧富を撰はす
皆々御定の旨を相守り其功の終るへき所をよろ
しく覚悟あるへき事ニ候もし一身の利潤を
はかり候ために何事によらす其通用相滞候
事共仕り出し候におゐてハ
前御代の御旨
当御代の御沙汰を違犯候のみにあらす天下
後代迄之罪人たるへきものに候ヘハ急度其罪
を糺され候て厳科に行はるへき事に候是又
其旨を相心得候へき者也
現代語訳
これにより、
当代（現在の将軍の治世）に至ってからは、世間の人々が申し立てている事柄についても詳しく調査し、各々が協議した結果に基づいて、金銀の品質を慶長の制度のように元に戻すべきことが決定された。その通用の方法や引き替えの規定などについては、詳細に別紙に記載されている通りである。今回のこの決定においては、先代（前将軍）の御意向に従い、天下の後代までのためを思っての御決断であるから、身分の高低や貧富の差を問わず、皆が御定めの趣旨を守り、その成果が完遂されるところまで、よく心得ておくべきことである。もし個人の利益を図るために、何事であろうとその通用を妨げるような行為を行った場合には、先代の御意向と当代の御決定に違反するだけでなく、天下の後代までの罪人となるべき者であるから、必ずその罪を追及されて厳罰に処せられるであろう。この点もその趣旨をよく心得ておくべきである。

Therefore,
Since the beginning of the current reign, the concerns and complaints of the people have been thoroughly investigated, and based on deliberations among various officials, it has been decided that the quality of gold and silver currency should be restored to the standards of the Keichō era. The methods of circulation and exchange regulations are detailed in separate documents as referenced herein. This current decision follows the intentions of the previous lord (shogun) and is made for the benefit of the realm and future generations. Therefore, regardless of social status or wealth, all people must abide by these regulations and be fully committed to seeing their implementation through to completion. Should anyone seek personal profit by obstructing the circulation of this currency in any way, they would not only violate the intentions of the previous lord and the decisions of the current reign, but would become criminals against the realm for all future generations. Such persons shall certainly have their crimes investigated and be subjected to severe punishment. This principle must also be well understood by all.
