上意有而御礼献上物着座之内御披露相済
御盃頂戴 御手自御肴被下之加へ候処御腰
物以酒井河内守拝戴常之御礼申上之時井伊
掃部頭江対而御礼申上此節 命有而又一献を
勧む自是以後席相定候付表ニ而御礼申上候
諸事先格之通尤年始御相伴も被 仰付候且又
御暇之節白銀千枚御袷百御馬御鷹二居拝領
之参勤御暇之節共ニ家老共両人充御目見被
仰付御暇之節御紋御袷拝戴之被 仰付候依之
松平加賀守儀も家老両人充越前守同事ニ

上意があり、御礼の献上物、着座の内に御披露が済み、御盃を頂戴し、御手ずから御肴を下し加えられたところ、御腰物を酒井河内守を以って拝戴し、常の御礼を申し上げる時、井伊掃部頭に対して御礼を申し上げた。この節、命があってまた一献を勧められた。これ以後席が相定まったので、表にて御礼を申し上げた。諸事は先格の通り、もっとも年始の御相伴も仰せ付けられた。また、御暇の節には白銀千枚、御袷百、御馬、御鷹二居を拝領した。参勤と御暇の節共に、家老たち両人ずつ御目見を仰せ付けられ、御暇の節には御紋の御袷を拝戴することを仰せ付けられた。これにより、松平加賀守についても家老両人ずつ越前守同様に御目見を仰せ付ける旨を仰せ出されたという。古越前守の妻は、公方様と御台様へ献上物を仰せ付けられ、もっとも不時の女使も指し上げて御機嫌伺いを申すべき旨を仰せ出された。
一、古越前守が死去し、家督の件について御懇切な上意を以って兵部大輔に仰せ付けられた。拝領物や家来の御目見等の件は先格の通りに仰せ付けられた。
一、兵部大輔が家督後、越前守綱昌に仰せ付けられ、拝領物等や家来の御目見の件は前々の通りに仰せ付けられた。

There was a directive from above, and the ceremonial presentation of gifts and seating arrangements were completed with proper announcement. The sake cup was received, and dishes were personally bestowed by the shogun's own hand. The ceremonial sword was received through Sakai Kawachi-no-kami, and when offering the customary thanks, gratitude was also expressed to Ii Kamon-no-kami. At this time, there was a command to offer another round of sake. From this point forward, seating arrangements were fixed, so formal thanks were expressed in the main hall. All matters followed previous precedents, and participation in New Year celebrations was also commanded. Furthermore, upon receiving leave, one thousand pieces of silver, one hundred lined robes, horses, and two hawks were bestowed. During both sankin (alternate attendance) and leave-taking, two chief retainers each were granted audiences. Upon leave-taking, lined robes bearing the shogunal crest were bestowed. Accordingly, it was proclaimed that Matsudaira Kaga-no-kami would also have two chief retainers granted audiences in the same manner as Echizen-no-kami. The wife of the former Echizen-no-kami was commanded to present gifts to both the Shogun and the Shogun's wife, and it was proclaimed that female messengers should be sent at irregular intervals to inquire about their well-being.
